HE LIVES!!!

HE LIVES!!!

Happy Easter, my loves!  Today has been nothing short of amazing! I spent this day just as I have all other Resurrection Sundays...with my family.  I am in awe of how big my nieces and nephews have gotten.  I ran a little behind getting ready for my day, so I nearly missed their church recitations.  Thank goodness for livestreams!

Life has been so hectic, lately.  Every morning that I rise, I am in awe of God's grace and mercy on my life.  Today was no different.  Although the days of my Easter speech recitations are long gone, please believe that it still a big deal for me to have THE Easter dress. Lol!  So, let's chat about it.

It's no secret that I am a Walmart Creator.   Last year I started to notice how cute the apparel had become, so I jumped at the chance to create looks!!! I like going in store, but I LOVE shopping online.   If you haven't noticed...that's where they hide the good stuff. Lol! Let that be our little secret.  While we're whispering, let me rave about two particular brands: Free Assembly and Scoop.  I don't know who designs for them, but I am thoroughly impressed!!!  My Easter dress was this beautiful white cotton eyelet dress by Free Assembly.  Just look at it!

It's so precious.  The fit is really great with no stretch other than the waist band and sleeves.  The price point was very generous.  It didn't matter because I was not going to be able to cope if this dress didn't make its way into my life.
To complete my look, I wore the most adorable mesh rhinestone peep toe mule heels.  The kitten heel was just right!I purchased them the moment they crossed my screen.  Seriously, it's as if Target knew that I had purchased that dress.
Just when I thought I was done, I ran across the perfect headband at TJ Maxx.  Like, how was this even possible???  Had I not already purchased the shoes, I am pretty sure I would've walked right past this headband.  I'm obsessed!  An oversized headband always makes me feel as it I'm wearing a crown.  I just had to have this one.  HAD TO.
When I'm creating a look, I am open to everything.  Sometimes the accessories win me over...other times, the vibes start with the clothing.  With this, every piece had an equal role.  The eyelet fabric, mesh heels, headband, color...I was simply in love.
I made this post because I often wonder how people come up with their "looks".  I sew a lot of my pieces but I love to shop.    It's the thrill of a bargain and unique finds for me.  I've styled quite a few people and must admit that each time has been unique. How do you pick your ensembles???  I really want to know!
